This site is dedicated to the memory of Roger Unsted.

Roger Unsted was born in Brynamman, Carmarthen on April 6th 1947. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. We have set up this memorial page to allow friends and family to contribute their thoughts and memories. We ask that you donate to this wonderful cause as Roger (Dad) had requested that any monies that would be spent on flowers, is used to support the Make A Wish Foundation as it is a very worthwile cause. We would like to thank you all for taking the time to look at this page and for your comments and donations. With all of our love Carol, Julie & Paula xxxxxxxx

Thoughts

Dearest Roger, Adam Ant was never your style, More a Prince Charming by a mile, You had a dance which was more of a stance, You had a smile that could be seen for a mile Sadly missed by all you leave, But open arms you will be greatly received. With love Michelle,Malcolm, Paige and Travis x

This day is remembered and quietly kept, No words are needed, we shall never forget, For those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen and unheard, but always near, Next time we meet mate I'll buy you a beer Fondest Memories Ray Cindy , Lee Craig and Jack xxx

Eulogy: By Ryan My Grandad G is for Gone, you’ve been taken away from us too soon. R is for Remember, all the good times & fun we’ve had A is for Always, although you may not be seen, you’ll remain in our hearts N is for Never – you’ll never be far from our thoughts D is for Devotion, your love and care A is for Affection, something that was always there D is for Don’t’ worry Grandad, we’ll all look after Nan It’s been an explosive year to say the least with all of its ups and downs. I still can’t quite believe that you’re no longer here We thank you all for coming today And yes there’s lots of tears But we celebrate a great life,, all 64 years I remember… his jokes, ….his dancing, a bit like a skip And the way he used to rattle his false teeth I always wondered when I was little, why mine didn’t come out the same He loved colour,… especially bright ones,… very fond of canary yellow. Not to mention a few shirts of mine. He had an overwhelming passion for travel, home or abroad And whilst exploring the foreign lands we sure needed that tom tom-except ours was called a rog rog. Its time to take it easy, and time to make a wish…! God bless my grandad, with love and a kiss.
